In a powerful display of international collaboration and future-focused development, the Africa International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AICCI) has successfully led a high-powered delegation of African construction industry CEOs to the prestigious Changsha International Construction Equipment Exhibition (CICEE)—one of the world’s largest showcases of cutting-edge construction machinery and innovation.
The event, sponsored by the Government of China and masterfully organized by BIT Convention Inc., Dalian, was spearheaded by Chinese business leaders Elsa Wang and Belinda Ma, who welcomed the African delegation with open arms and a shared vision for infrastructure transformation across the African continent.
The African delegation, led by the dynamic President of AICCI, Dr. Mark G. Darko, comprised top-level executives and thought leaders from Ghana, Ethiopia, Namibia, South Africa, and Nigeria—countries at the forefront of Africa’s infrastructure revolution.
In a packed auditorium brimming with global industry leaders, Dr. Darko delivered a riveting keynote address titled “Demand and Trend of Construction Machinery Market in Africa.” His presentation highlighted Africa’s surging demand for smart infrastructure, sustainable construction solutions, and modern equipment to power cities, highways, ports, and industrial hubs of the future.
