A series of key moments highlighted the occasion, including speeches by Azalaï Hotels Group President, Mr. Mossadeck BALLY, and Prime Minister OUEDRAOGO, followed by the official ribbon-cutting, the presentation of a commemorative gift to the Prime Minister, and the unveiling of the inaugural plaque.

The reopening of Azalaï Hôtel Ouagadougou is particularly significant given its history. Formerly known as Azalaï Hôtel Indépendance, the establishment sustained extensive damage during the political unrest of October 30 and 31, 2014. After years of reconstruction, the hotel has now emerged as a symbol of resilience, modernity, and excellence.
